Olivia Archard, Class of 2025

SECRETARY GENERAL

Olivia Archard is a senior at NYU, double majoring in Global Liberal Studies with a concentration in Law, Ethics, History, & Religion, and History, while minoring in Politics. Originally from the scenic Granite State (New Hampshire), Olivia has a deep love for the Fall, skiing, and Dunkin' Donuts. Having spent her entire freshman year abroad in Florence, Italy, she developed a passion for travel, museum enrichment, and embracing adventure. Olivia has been actively involved in Model United Nations since her freshman year of high school, when she joined the Bedford High School MUN Club. After graduation and her year abroad, she had the honor of joining the NYU MUN Travel Team in Fall 2022, where she was introduced to the world of conference planning. Following roles as Director of Delegate Affairs and Director-General of Operations for EmpireMUNC, and USG of Joint Crisis Committees for NYUMUNC, Olivia is now thrilled to serve as the Secretary-General for NYUMUNC XVI—someone pinch her because she must be dreaming!

Irelyn Mulvaney, Class of 2025

DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF OPERATIONS

Irelyn is currently a senior at NYU pursuing a BA-MA in industrial/organizational psychology. Irelyn has been involved in NYU Model United Nations since her freshman year at university in 2021 and the first conference she participated in as a CA was actually NYUMUNC XIII. She studied abroad in Berlin for two semesters, both the summer and spring of 2023, and really enjoyed writing for the NYU Berlin student paper. Outside of university, Irelyn loves playing video games, learning languages, reading fiction novels, going to movie theaters, and spending time with her husky frost. She is so excited to be your DG of Operations and can't wait to see the fruition of everyone's hard work while also ensuring a smooth conference weekend for all delegates and staffers.

DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF CONTENT

Api Dhadda is a senior studying Politics and Economics at NYU’s College for Arts and Sciences. Api grew up in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, but she was born in Illinois. She first fell in love with Model UN in 6th grade—when she attended a local conference at Bergen County Academies—and the rest, as they say, is history. She continued to pursue competitive MUN through high school, as Head Delegate, and in college, on NYU’s Travel Team. At NYU, she began her conference journey serving as everything from GA chair and CD to USG of Crisis and SG for the high school conference. Now, she is proud to serve as  Director-General of Content for NYUMUNC XVI, curating the same engaging experience for delegates that she has cherished for all these years! Outside of Model UN, Api really enjoys exploring coffee shops, painting pottery, and discovering new artists.

USG of General Assembly

Alia Arafeh is a Junior at NYU studying International Relations with minors in Economics and French. She first joined MUN in her sophomore year in college, having participated in EmpireMUNC 2023 as a CA, NYUMUNC 2024 as a CD, and is taking on her first leadership role as USG of GA this year. She is also on NYU’s Travel Team and enjoys competing as well as hosting conferences. Outside of MUN, Alia loves to bake, try new restaurants in New York, go thrifting, and watch films. Originally from Los Gatos, CA, she also enjoys a good beach day and a long hike when her busy schedule allows. She is eager to see how GA delegates choose to approach their unique topics and represent their delegations. Good luck delegates and have fun!

Masha Malinina, Class of 2025

USG of General Crisis

Masha Malinina is a senior studying Fashion Business and Marketing, and she is your USG of General Crisis. Her first involvement in MUN was being a CA for NYUMUNC freshman year, and since then she has staffed 4 conferences as a Chair and CD, and competed in five as a crisis delegate. She had so much fun coming up with the committee ideas for this conferences and hopes you have as much fun participating in them—whether it be managing Gru’s assets, smuggling Western goods across the USSR border, panicking in the SNL writer’s room, deciphering Derry accents, or dealing with whatever shenanigans AdHoc will bring. Outside of Model UN you’ll find her sewing the occasional bikini or probably falling off a skateboard.

USG of Joint-Crisis

Riley Bryant is a senior studying International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences. Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Riley started Model UN in middle school and has continued ever since, including serving as Head Delegate for NYU’s Travel Team this year. Outside of Model UN, she can be found outside of class trying NYC coffee shops, maintaining a polished Letterboxd, or brushing up on her Arabic vocab. Believing that JCCs are the peak form of crisis committees, she hopes that everyone has a fantastic time at NYUMUNC XVI and can’t wait to meet everyone!

Kristen Campbell, Class of 2025

USG of Training

Kristen Campbell is a senior at CAS, double-majoring in Data Science and Politics, with a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. She has been a member of the NYUMUN Travel Team since freshman year and has served as a CA, CD, and Chair for EmpireMUNC and NYUMUNC conferences over the last 3 years. She can always be found reading and trying new coffee shops around campus. She is thrilled to get our incredible staff ready to host an amazing NYUMUNC SWEET 16!

USG of Staff Affairs

Hayden Dunson is a Senior studying public policy and minoring in history. He began his MUN career in middle school and has continued up until today, staffing both of NYUMUN’s conferences, high school and collegiate. Hayden is also part of the travel team, where he enjoys touring the cities he goes to, meeting new faces on the circuit, and getting into some fun debates at the conferences! Hayden was born in Plano, Texas, and grew up in Austin, Texas. He loves a good video game, sports (especially American Football), the gym, snow skiing, and food touring. He cannot wait to see everyone at the conference and hopes that the conference brings everyone the same excitement that preparing for it has brought him!

Ananya Banerjee, Class of 2025

USG of Delegate Registration

Ananya Banerjee is a senior studying Politics in the College of Arts and Sciences. She was raised in New Jersey and has been involved in Model UN since middle school. At NYU, Ananya has been on the Model UN Travel Team since freshman year and is the Secretary-General of EmpireMUNC. In her free time, Ananya is way too invested in bad reality television, a huge Manchester United fan, a How I Met Your Mother enthusiast, and can be found watching a Steelers game every Sunday. She is excited to meet all the delegates soon!

Nivedita Malu, Class of 2027

USG of Media & Events

Nivedita Malu is a sophomore at New York University, dual majoring in Applied Psychology at Steinhardt and Economics at CAS. Nivedita has been active in Model UN for six years, starting in freshman year of HS. At NYU she was part of the Travel Team in her freshman year, and has staffed two conferences as a JCC and GA chair. Nivedita is driven by a passion for community service, having dedicated her time to working in palliative care hospitals, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and more––all of which have deeply shaped her commitment to making a positive impact. Outside MUN, she loves long-distance running, yoga, watching Netflix, and spending time with loved ones.

Sonali Shah, Class of 2027

Co-USG of Logistics

Sonali Shah is a sophomore at NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences, studying Psychology with a double minor in Chemistry and Digital Art while on the pre-med track. At NYU, she proudly served as the Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Affairs for EmpireMUNC XI and now serves as one of the USGs of Logistics for NYUMUNC XVI.Outside of MUN, Sonali is passionate about weightlifting, a proud dog mom, and enjoys making music. She is also an avid fan of the NJ Devils ice hockey team, and Formula 1 (Forza Ferrari!). She looks forward to an incredible conference and can’t wait to see everything come together!

Jeremy (Younghyun) Kim is a Sophomore studying Public Policy and Politics at NYU’s College for Arts and Sciences. They grew up in Seoul, South Korea but attended middle and high school in Bangkok, Thailand, where they were first introduced to Model UN. While their first few experiences at MUN were… questionable to say the least, they were quickly hooked by the heated debate and the chaos of it all. They quickly fell in love with the community within MUN and continued to pursue it throughout high school, as Secretary-general of THAIMUN X and in college, through NYU’s Travel Team. Outside of MUN, Jeremy enjoys photography, making trips to the museum, reading, and tea. As Co-USG of Logistics, Jeremy is excited to make sure that NYUMUNC 16 is a smooth-sailing experience for all those attending, and they are looking forward to meeting all the delegations who attend!
